Sales Representative (Washington)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop a large and sustainable pipeline including opportunities both from Direct and Channel Sales through cold calls, referrals, direct mail, business listings, e-mails, interaction with partners and other sources
  • Look for target partners and attract projects through them (from establishing relations with potential partners to making joint presentations with them for the prospects)
  • Make calls into new and existing accounts
  • Prepare and conduct self-dependent presentations (including demonstrating solutions) over Web conference/in person, prepare proposals, close deals
  • Seek and find new business opportunities
  • Work diligently in client recruitment and management
  • Identify and contact decision makers in organizations
  • Build and maintain business relationships
  • Answer client requests concerning our products and services
  • Work closely with company partners and sub-contractors as needed
  • Lead negotiations and work through contract terms and conditions
  • Close the deal

Requirements

  • Committed, motivated, and result oriented person, initiative and imaginative in developing new sales and presentation ideas
  • Advanced follow-up, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comprehensive background including both advanced knowledge of computers and common business software applications (preferably in Business Analytics and Statistics) and ability to effectively interact with business users specializing in finance, economics, and statistics
  • Strong sales process, problem-solving and consultative sales skills – listening, understanding, and acting accordingly
  • Readiness to work in team according to the strategy and plan of activities proposed

Additional Information:

  • A minimum of 3 years of either software or consultative sales or presale and project implementation experience (candidates with experience in presale and project implementation willing to sales also will be considered)
  • Existing customer base in such industries as healthcare, agriculture, electrical power engineering
  • Superior knowledge of sales techniques including cold-calling, networking and lead generation
  • Consistent success at meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and client expectations
  • Experience in communicating with senior level executives
  • Experience in selling BI and related technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or business preferred
